Lindy Annis wurde in Boston geboren und schloß ihr Studium an der New York University (Experimental Theatre Wing) mit einem Bachelor of Arts/Drama ab. In New York arbeitete sie u.a. mit Tim Miller,Yoshiko Chuma & the School of Hard Knocks, Anne Bogart, und The Wooster Group. In Europa, Frieder Butzmann, Marie Goyette, Hans Peter Kuhn, Xavier Le Roy, Detektor, Dr. Motte, Nicholas Bussmann, Kurt Palm und anderen.
Lindy Annis lebt in Berlin.
